Diablo 4‘s social marketing director is teasing some helpful changes coming with a new hotfix in Season 10, addressing issues with a popular perk and Infernal Hordes. The dungeon crawler RPG from Blizzard officially launched its Season 10 update earlier this week, bringing plenty of new content to the game with the new patch. Season 10 added several new Chaos Perks to Diablo 4, alongside some major changes coming to the Infernal Hordes game mode. Now, Diablo 4 is already planning some fixes for Season 10’s new content.

Infernal Hordes have been a popular form of endgame content within Diablo 4 since the game mode was first introduced during Season 5. Infernal Hordes serve as a powerful endgame gauntlet for players to challenge, tasking players with battling through waves of increasingly powerful enemies culminating in a boss fight against either the Fell Council or Bartuc, Lord of Chaos. The game mode also provides “Infernal Offers” with power-ups and drawbacks, both raising the difficulty and providing some helpful buffs. Now, Infernal Hordes and a Chaos Perk are set to see some changes soon.

As reported by Wowhead, Diablo 4 Social and Content Marketing Director Adam Fletcher shared some hotfixes coming to the game through his Twitter account. In a response to a fan inquiry about the “A Beast Cornered” Chaos Perk draining more HP than intended, Fletcher confirmed that the next patch to the client would roll out a fix for the bug. Fletcher also responded to another fan’s comment about the Infernal Hordes’ spires, confirming that some unspecified changes are coming to spires in the next patch. The posts did not confirm a specific date for the next hotfix coming to Diablo 4‘s Season 10.

Diablo 4 Teases New Season 10 Hotfixes

The purported changes would look to ease some of the bigger headaches to arise with the launch of Diablo 4‘s newest season. The change to spires could look to address some annoying issues cited by Diablo fans, feeling that the effort required to drag enemies into a spire’s circle before killing them significantly slows down the game mode. Infernal Hordes also introduced the new “Chaos Wave” Offering with Season 10, increasing the density of waves and the power of their enemies while granting more Aether for clearing Chaos Waves.

The new updates to Infernal Hordes were far from the only big changes made with Diablo 4‘s Season 10 update. Season 10 introduced Chaos Armor as a brand-new type of gear for players to pick up for their characters, offering new versions of older Unique Armor boasting stronger Aspects. Diablo 4 also added a wealth of new Reliquaries to the game in Season 10, with Blizzard introducing a new Unique item for each of Diablo 4‘s classes. Diablo 4‘s upcoming hotfix should look to iron out the issues with the plethora of exciting new updates in Season 10.
