That Golden Ball bid suffered a blow when losing a final showdown with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, and Guti has questioned why Yamal was allowed to step out in front of the cameras when looking unprofessional.
The former Real Madrid midfielder told : “I don't know if this is the first time I've seen a guy with a cap backwards. I don't like that because he's with the Spanish national team!
“When he goes to Ibiza, or wherever he wants, he can do it. But not with the Spanish national team at a press conference. I don't like it.”

“It's not Lamine's fault, he ultimately does what he wants. It's the fault of him being there and having to tell him, 'Hey, no, not wearing a cap at a press conference with the Spanish national team’.”
